2005 Monaco Dynasty vs 2007 Fleetwood Discovery

Is low mileage a good thing on a diesel? Seems I read on forums all the time that they are just broken in when they have 100,000. Do they both have maintenence records? Did one sit for long periods of time vs the other one being driven and used. Maybe someone with a diesel can give you more insight.
