2006 Alfa Gold Motorhome Ad An AC?
2006 Alfa Gold Motorhome Can you add an AC into the existing fantastic vent or top vent that is on the motorhome? Trying to find a way to cool it better and would like a long term fixed solution.

You would have to get dedicated power to it (20A), but typically you can mount a stand alone AC over the standard 14" square RV vent. You may have to install some additional support between the trusses, but it can be done. The AC would be controlled, draw air and distribute air through an independent diffuser system attached at the ceiling. It wouldn't tie in to any existing ductwork you may have on the Alfa or house thermostats.
