My Handle did that on my Pace Arrow so I took it apart and seen that the the metal ear or prong was starting to miss where it was supposed to hit so it took just a little tapping to bend it so it would make better contact.It was last year so I can quite remember with out seeing it apart again but know it was an easy simple fix
