Bedroom slide may or may not be the same. If you see an aluminum track(s) on the exterior sides of the slide then it's the Schwintek system.
No such tracks and it will most likely be the same kind of R&P type.
Schintek = hold down switch 3~5 seconds after it stops.
All other types = release switch as soon the slide stops.
Schwintek systems were not available 10 years ago. When they became available(2010 or so), only CHEAP Inexpensive Trailers used them at first, until LCI could get a foothold in the RV industry for the Schwintek system. The OEM's wanted to see what the track record would be for that system. The original Schwintek had numerous faults and problems and LCI went thru about 2 updates to the design(build) and wiring before OEM's started using it in large quantities. Doug
