2007 Jayco Seneca 35GS Kitchen slide issue

Our large kitchen slide is closing at the top before the bottom gets in all the way (on the outside of the RV)- you can tell closing it all they way is putting some strain on the top and has started to slightly separate the wall from the counter top in the kitchen. Also the toe kick on the cabinets under the sink and on the little slide "wall" section (between the kitchen and toilet room) drag when opening the slide. Are the slides adjustable? Or is it rollers like some have said on the bedroom slide out? Comments - thoughts...
  • That was the nature of the beast and it is not a slide adjustment issue. The slides are desinged to close at the top first to make a water tight seal. The rear of the kitchen counter needs more screws added to hold the cabinet to the wall.

Call the JAYCO Service Center in Middlebury and they should be able to tell you what you need to do.
  • I'd tell your story to a service writer at your rv dealer of choice and let them mess with your slides - especially if there is a warranty involved.

Just got my trailer back from the dealer yesterday where they were fixing my main slide (Schwintek). Now it purrs; couldn't have done that job myself.
