2007 Winnebago Adventurer Model 38T Have One?

Getting ready to buy one. Will be our 6th Motorhome. I always was "stuck" on this floor plan. I have read about basement air. Which is an entire new concept for us. This length will be two feet more than our largest Class A Pace Arrow Model 36D. Any likes dislikes? Problems? Easy to Drive? Anything you can think of would be appreciated.

  • We had our Adventurer for 11 years, reasonably problem free, a great motorhome. The basement air required service twice, both times some kind or relay fried. Our mobile tech assured us that even though the basement air is no longer supported by Colman parts are still available. In our friendly discussion it was noted that even if the a/c unit died it would not be an unreasonable fix to mount two roof a/c units as a replacement. Certainly not a wonderful idea, but it was an assurance that the RV was not dependent on basement a/c only. Things to consider: Make sure the Norcold frig has been updated after the recall. Check the HWH jack springs making sure they retract the jacks completely...they do wear out and replacement is not really a big deal. It was a great coach, but I wanted new, and I wanted a diesel to tow heavier.
    Happy Trails.
  • We had this model for seven years. The wife really like the floor plan. The only troubles we had were normal ware and tear. No trouble with A/C, it was powered by Workhorse no problems there either. Great motor home!
    Good Luck
