2008 GULFSTREAM CRESCENDO - Thoughts?

How would this stack-up tp Newmar or Holiday Rambler in terms of build and quality?
  • We looked at some used Crescendo's and felt as an entry level DP they did not stack up per dollar spent as the Ventana, Journey and Phaeton of the same model year did.
  • Actually, only the higher priced Newmars have side radiators. I know that at least the Ventana and Ventana LE diesels have the rear radiator. Having said that though, the Newmar motorhomes do offer a lot for the dollar. We have had many RV's over the past 40 years, and are continually amazed at the thoughtful little features that we find in our Newmar.

  • I would say that Newmar is in a class of it's own. While Gulfstream no longer makes motorhomes. Holiday Rambler has a wide range of models from the inexpensive no frills to top of the line. The beauty of Newmar is that I believe all their pushers have a side mounted radiator, a real plus.
