  • We have a 2005 Jayco Greyhawk 30GS. It has been a great coach. We bought it because we believed it was a good quality unit. We have had no major problems with it (knock on wood). I don't want to jinx myself! Just normal maintenance and wear. Patch the roof when cracks develop in the sealant, replace vinyl inserts that cover the screw holes because they shrank and pulled out of the track, caulking, etc. I would recommend Jayco. Just be sure to check it our carefully to make sure the previous owner took care of it. We only get about 4-5 years out of the Michelin tires before they have to be replaced due to weather checking. It may be time for tires...just look them over carefully. If it is within the 5 year warranty still Michelin will pro-rate the tires and cover under warranty if the problem is bad enough. They did on my first set of tires. Good luck with it!
  • We have that model and love the floor plan. There was a recall for a switch which the dealer fixed. We added Maxx Air vent covers to the 3 vents and a awning for the slide. No major issues with the motor home, but we did have issues with the stereo system which the dealer fixed under warranty.
  • I have no experience with that model but owned a Jayco Melbourne which was a a good quality motorhome. Jayco uses a "rubber" roof on the Greyhawk which can be a negative.
