2009 Winnebago View. Ride

Need some help. I recently purchased a 2009 Winnebago View with 15k miles. I replaced all of the tires because the ones that were on the vehicle was almost 8 years old, while doing the tires I also had the shop replace the rear shocks with koni shocks.

The only thing I would like to improve is the bounciness in the rear. Is there anything I can do to help minimize how much the rear bounces. You feel it when the road is uneven or when there's joints on the road.

Let me know what I can do to improve the ride as my wife and oldest gets a bit car sick in the back. Thanks in advance

Which Koni Shocks did you get? The new FSD series is their best. Probably THE best.

What tire pressure are you running? There are several sources for pressure settings, here they are, Best First:

    1. Pressure set according to fully loaded scale weight according to a tire manufacturer chart

    2. Winnebago's door jamb label

    3. Mercedes' door jamb label

    4. Maximum on tire sidewall

Then of course the experience of other owners. This advice can run the full range.
  • If it's bouncing that bad there has to be something wrong with the shocks as the shocks are supposed to counter the springs - either leaf or coil. Check the part numbers of the shocks that were put on with the Koni web site and make sure the proper shocks were installed.
