We've had our 2011 30W since last September. Ordered it with the buffet/TV option so the TV would be where you've put yours, and so we'd have chairs instead of bench seating, and with carpet only on the slide floors and in the cab area. Everything else is vinyl.
Haven't done any mods - yet. We're about to order some pull out shelves for the pantry to make it more usable and I'm going to put a ventilated vinyl shelf in the cabinet over the bed to make it more used friendly, too. Have purchased a piece of foam rubber and placed it at the head of the bed to lengthen the mattress to full queen length. With a memory foam pad on top and everything held together by a queen-sized mattress pad, it all stays put very nicely. Just need to make an extension for the foot of the bed support. Although we never sit there, we worry about it sagging over time.
We have been struggling with where to put a litter box for our 4 cats and had even tried to figure out how to access that "shelf" in the rear compartment through the false panel under the drawers in the BR. Think we may have come up with a better solution. An ottoman that has a cat box inside and an access hole in one side. The padded top comes off for cleaning the litter box. We need an ottoman (or 2) anyway since we're accustomed to sitting in recliners at home. Another mod, for the cats. We're going to install a cat door in the bathroom door. We use that door, instead of the accordion door to close off the bedroom, and this will allow the cats to get in and out.
Other things we want are exterior shades for the cab windows/windshield, an oxygenics showerhead and, one day down the road, a commode that my husband will like better than what it came with.
Overall, we love our Vista. It's a perfect size for us and our current needs.
