Jun 11, 2011One of the reasons we downsized from a 40' DP to the 30W was to be able to stay in public campgrounds instead of constantly being tethered at private RV parks due to the large size of the DP. We installed three Kyocera solar panels producing 405 watts of electricity so we could dry camp without giving up our modern conveniences and not having to constantly run the generator. (As I type this, I'm dry camping in June Lake, CA with satellite HD TV and computers :B ) . We can now go places that are truly God's country. We also added window awnings on all four windows. We place the cat litter box on the passenger side footwell when camping and store it in one of the basement compartments. (We use a smallish cat litter box purchased at Walmart that fits the footwell area perfectly.)
The 30W has allowed us to visit places like this (June Lake, CA, June 9, 2011) with this kind of view from our coach that we could never enjoy in the 40' DP.

Similar to litter box we use
