RonDeb, I know you guys were in some horrible cold weather in Texas last year and survived with minor freezing. I see you are going to close up some of the openings from the cabinets to the bays. I wonder if these are the heat source to those compartments. Obviously that back one doesn't need the heat. I was in and out of cold last winter but never below 10 degrees. I would run the heat if I was not in the moho when the temp was getting below freezing. Set temp at 50 and never had a problem. I also just used compressed air to blow the lines and then fill traps with anti-freeze and that worked for longer time when we got home in early March. Again not the sub zero of January so only a partial test. It is a big gap in the bedroom closet so I might close that as well but hard to believe it was just cheap construction and didn't have a purpose. Perhaps I am too optimistic.
