"Talked" with RonDeb via private message and found out they haven't replaced their toilet because they haven't found one that will fit. Bummer.
My husband e-mailed Winnebago last week about the toilet and another issue. He received a phone call yesterday. (Surprised us - we expected an e-mail back.) The guy was really nice and answered our other question but couldn't help about the toilet. His suggestion was that we contact Thetford - which we'll do tomorrow (today was crazy busy with other stuff) - and see what they recommend.
In the meantime, we've looked at the plumbing schematic and noticed that our pipe seems to slant from the bottom of the toilet toward the holding tank. It's hard to say which direction it slants from looking at the drawing. We have hopes that this slant would be enough - and in the right direction - to allow us to move the toilet away from the wall the 1 1/2 - 2 inches necessary to fit a Style II in that space.
I've also posted a new thread on IRV2.com and RVforum.net in their Winnebago forums, asking if anyone has done this replacement.
If we learn anything - good or bad - I'll pass it along here.
