Well, my wife and I just made the big plunge at the 2011 RV Rally in Redmond, Oregon last weekend, and bought a new 2011 Winnebago Vista 30W with the buffet floorplan. We both fell in love as soon as we saw it, and that's more than rare, because it's NEVER happened before, and we've looked at hundreds of coaches over the years! :>) I'm sure that it won't be PERFECT....nothing ever is, but it completely meets our wants/needs of having a permanent bed that on the FLOOR, a shower that's useable (no more hikes to the bathhouse), and a TV located in a place that makes SENSE instead of craning your neck to watch it. Also, lots and lots of storage space out back, as well as elsewhere. We're moving up from a 17' Class "B", so the difference to us is HUGE!! :>) We don't have it YET! It's still down in Bend, Oregon at the All-Seasons RV & Marine dealership. We're having to make some modifications to our driveway and we're installing a pad large enough to park it next to the house. Gonna love the convenience of having it close, and we plan on stocking it with everything that we'll need to take off at a moments notice. We're both still working, and this was obviously a very BIG investment, and not one that was totally planned, so I've had some second-thoughts and 'buyers remorse', but the fact that everyone on the forum here seems to be (overall) very happy with their Vistas makes me feel like we've made the right choice. Oh....and we like to do state parks, national parks, national forests, etc., and anything larger just wouldn't fit our lifestyle. The biggest change for us will be NOT being able to fit ANYWHERE like we do now with our Class "B", but I think that all the positives will outweigh the negatives!! So......just wanted to say "Hello" from Olympia, WA. Wish us luck on our new journey. It's been many years in coming! :>)
