We are getting just about 8.9 mpg. That is an average over mountains, hills, plains, and running the dash AC (not very much though we were traveling in the Winter) We have experienced that running your dash AC will decrease your gas mileage by at least 1mpg and up to 1.5 mpg (that has been our experience) That was for around 5,000 miles. That is also traveling at 57 to 62 MPH.
So with dash AC running, we should get 7.4 to 7.9 MPG
That is also towing a 2400 lb. Mazda Miata.
