I was just re-reading all the posts and realized no one ever answered your question about sanitizing the water tank. I found some info in our owner's manual. If you don't have the city water fill feature, you have to do it the way you did with your Class C.
If you do have a model with a city water fill, you can do the bleach thing without having to pour it into the hose. To do it, you have to have an in-line external cartridge-type filter hooked up between the hose bib and the city water fill connection on the Vista. You take the filter off and remove the cartridge. Add 1/2 cup bleach per 30 gals of tank capacity into the empty filter canister, then screw the filter back onto the filter base. Turn the city water on with the Water Valve turned to Tank Fill position.
In our 2011 manual this is on page 7-4 in the plumbing section. I imagine the 2010 manual would be similar.
