That Ford F53 chassis has been around long enough where all handling issues should be gone completely! According to a shop technician that aligns the front end on F53 coachs...he said proper toe-in setting will help the most. Contrary to Ford's recommendations, he sets toe-in between 1/8th & 1/4th, and he says that helps minimize wander. Have the Dealer get this done and Winnie will pick up the charges. Others with that chassis have reported that Bilstein shocks and steering dampers clean it up even more...but the alignment has to be done before any modification are done.

Make sure that it is aligned, but consider if wind has been blowing too. That can take you all over the road. Take out the RV on a nice still day.

Welcome, Biffey.
Come on "over" to the "2010 and 2011 Winnebago Vista 30W Owners" thread and introduce yourself to everyone there. We're a friendly bunch. Just do a search in the box (top left, just under the blue stripe) for Vista 30W and all the threads about the Vista will pop up. Goldencrazy has started a couple, but one has more info and contributors than the other.
That buffet style (what we have, too) seems to be quite popular. We've enjoyed ours so far and will be taking off on a 5 week trip to Glacier, Yellowstone, etc. on the 25th. Our first trip longer than 10 days.
What part of Florida are you in?

Before you spend any money on add ons, get the front end aligned. I bet that stops the wandering. I'm on my 4th coach and everyone of them needed an alignment. Even my 2011 Winnebago. Had it aligned twice before we got it right!

Im glad to see this Vista topic in the forum. We recently purchased a 2011 30W with the buffet style TV and dinning table. We just made a trip to several state parks in Georgia,Tenna. &No. Carolina. We like the Vista a lot. Only problem that I have encountered is road wandering in the steering. Im going to put some kind of of a safety plus or a Davis trutrac on the RV. Other than that at this point Im glad to be a new member of this group.
