We have really been enjoying this topic. We cannot wait to do some of the upgrades that you all have been so kind to detail in this thread.
We purchased a 2011 Vista 30W a little over a month ago and just love it. This is our third new Winnebago/Itasca motorhome in the last 15 years so we know that there are always some bugs to work out and we are currently trying to resolve some issues with our dealer.
One of the most pressing issues involves our fresh water tank. Here in Alaska we dry camp a lot. We have filled the water tank at home before leaving on our first three weekends and have never arrived at our destination with more than 1/2 tank of fresh water. This last weekend was the worst. We could not have had more than 5-10 gallons when we arrived. It sits in our driveway with a full tank and does not leak so I have to assume that it is coming out as I go down the road. My 1999 Sunrise 35 lost a little water but this is crazy. I have done some searching and my dealer is no help! Any ideas? Am i doing something wrong?
