Yes, leaking out the overflow is all we can figure as well. I do not know how it can practically empty the tank. It is like it starts a syphon through the overflow and does not stop. I am confused at how it could do this though. On this model is the "vent" line and overflow the same? I was assuming that the overflow line is simply a pipe connected near the top of the tank but does not extend into the tank. Has anyone ever installed any kind of valve to close off the overflow line? would this be bad?
