Just dropped my Vista off at a Cummins Service Center to check out my generator and find out what's going on. I left it there, so they're going to have it the next 3 days, and hopefully they'll find out what's wrong pretty quick and have the parts on hand. I plan to go out again this coming Friday evening, so fixed or not, I'll be picking it up on Thursday evening before they close. I'm confused about how you could run the generator and get power on the 30W, since it's (to my knowledge) a simple manual switchover with no transfer switch involved like there is on some coaches. When I unplug from shorepower, I have to insert the plug into the 30 amp receptacle that is the generator plug if I want to have power to the coach when not plugged in to shorepower. For instance, to run the air conditioner going down the road or parked somewhere with no power. If it's not plugged into the receptacle, then there couldn't be any power to the coach. Anyway......I'll post the results when I find out, so that if someone else has a similar problem, they'll have a better idea of what it is. :>)
