Very strange. We have never filled our tank and traveled, but we are going to just to see if ours has the same problem before the year is up in January. We should be leaving on Monday, so will let you know.
Is there any way to put a valve at the end of the overflow tube that you can shut it off. You really only need it in case you overfill it. I don't know if you can see the end of the tube or not.
