Ok, getting a picture of the vent line from the water tank was an epic fail so I hope I can describe how my dealer fixed my draining water problem.
My vent line comes out of the top of the tank as normal, goes down a foot and was cut, the dealer installed a 90 on it.
Attached to that 90 is a line going straight back about 1 foot toward the rear of the RV.
At the end of that line, is another elbow that attaches to a line going straight up. That line ends at about the same level as the top of the vent line coming out of the tank.
At the top of that line is a 90 going back towards the front of the RV.
He attached another line to that 90 and it appears to angle slightly up and ends higher than the vent line coming out of the tank. Another 90 is attached to that line pointing down.
This is where he attached the final line that goes down below the bottom of the RV. He zipped tied this final "drain line" to the original vent line that comes out of the water tank. This seems to hold this all together.
When looking at it it looks like a rectangle was added into the vent line.
Hope this helps. I have not lost a drop of water. Not even climbing over Turnagin and Thompson Passes up here in Alaska.
Sorry for the long post.
