Golden......thanks for the clarification. We have the electric heat pump as an option on ours, and like it pretty well. No having to use propane to heat the coach when you're already plugged in and paying for electric anyway is always a PLUS. :>) I DO still see the merits of having a space heater as well, though. We have one of those electric fake log heaters at home, and we've thought about trying it out in the coach. Just ordered a Kill-a-Watt amp meter from Amazon, so we're going to start tracking how many amps each appliance is using to make sure we don't overload the 30 amp system. :>) RonDeb....... enjoy your travels. I just remembered, the electric heat pump only works to about 35/37 degrees outside air temp anyway, because the cold air no longer has any heat for the heat pump to extract, and then it switches over to the furnace anyway. So......an electric space heater would still be a benefit!!
