RonDeb.....I received my Kill-a-Watt device two days ago, and started plugging stuff into it to see the loads. I don't have a 30 amp plug-in yet at home to plug in my coach & use the LCD readout on the Progressive Industries Surge Protector to see what the fridge, heat pump, air conditioner, fan, furnace, etc. uses.....but here are some numbers from small appliances so far. Drip Coffee Maker, 875 watts & 7.4 amps; Curling Iron, 93 watts & .85 amps; Toaster, 875 watts & 7.3 amps; Electric Blow Dryer, varies from a low fan/low heat of 149 watts & 1.75 amps....up to a high fan/high heat of 1611 watts & 13.5 amps. Now I'm curious to find out later on about the microwave & other coach appliances once I plug into 30 amps again. I'll post what I discover. This is the first weekend since we picked up our coach that we haven't gone somewhere. I probably needed the break, but I'd really love to have a couple of weeks vacation right now so that we could just BE GONE!!! :>)
