Francesis, From July to October the great lakes area is very nice. The UP of Michigan is wild and beautiful. Lake Superior is very cool so you will get temps that are generally cool in the summer especially compared to your area. Our cottage is on Lake Michigan in an area called Door County. I actually prefer the Michigan side of the Lake. The area around Traverse City is very nice. So if travel plans north gain traction let me know. I will be in GS for a short trip in early December and that will be it for the winter as we have snowbirds renting. We are heading for California after the holidays.
