Haven't had the energy to even open the computer, but thought I would give all an update. The dealer here has been fantastic. A perfect PDI and instructions. They moved our rigs door to door and put a plank across them so when we transferred our items, we didn't have to go down and up stairs, just straight across. They had the generators and air on in both units. The fridge was cold in the new one and we had fresh water in the tanks. We started transferring at 11 and actually got everything in the new one at 5:00. I was trying to put everything away as we brought it over, but finally, the last few loads just got put on the counter and couch. We spent a lot of time transferring the outside compartments so we wouldn't have to redo them later. Lots of really nice compartment storage and all the compartments that are under the slides open sideways not up which is really nice.
The closet is huge, but no shelves so today we put in a wire closet system in half of it which gives Ron 2 and me 2 nice 2 feet wide 20 feet deep and 18 inches high. Enough for all pants and shirts. We had to cut 4.5 inches off each side of the king bed platform which actually made the space between the bed and the walls really very nice . Glad we didn't keep the King bed, that space between bed and walls would have been really tight.
The double door fridge is absolutely wonderful. I didn't think that would be a major factor, but having it I can't believe how nice it is to have that much space in the fridge and freezer. The bowls in the sink are huge, so I am just keeping one side covered which gives me lots of counter space.
The shower is really nice. Can actually bend down and get the soap that drops and can dry yourself without hitting the walls. There is actually more storage in the bath than I though and I am using part of the pantry as a linen closet and bathroom storage.
We had the Direct TV satellite dish installed on Friday, but they didn't quite finish some of the wiring to the other TV's, plus we wanted them to look at the furnace. It seems really loud and it vibrates. The service manager thinks it is probably a loose fan blade.
We tried the heat pump and that is very nice. We didn't have that on the W.
Our title and plates came today overnight from Spokane WA Dept of Lic. Wash. lets private dealers handle the licensing and we have a great gal that works with getting the paperwork and gets your plates out the same day.
"Goldencrazy" Yes, that Jack Anten. is fantastic. Watching the playoff on it right now. A great picture. Also, have the Infrared Remotes for the DVR so we aim at the TV now to change channels, not the Direct TV Box over the Drivers seat.
The full slide is the real secret of making the 3 feet longer seem like you are getting 10. The hallway is twice as wide which seems huge. Don't have to take turns going down the hall LOL.
This unit does not have the oven, just the Convection Oven. I think I will miss my oven. I like the extra drawers where the oven was, so may be a toss up.
I love the MCD Shades.
OK, that is the update. We are still glad we made the change. Had we seen the 33c when we bought the 30W I do believe we would have made that decision then, so figured might as well do it now.
We are going to try and just relax and take it easy tomorrow. We need a day off.
OH, one more thing. The reclining chair is worthless. Very uncomfortable and small. That may be left at the dealership on Monday and then we can find another nice chair or we may have a cabinet with doors built in it's place. We don't need the sitting space and could use the space for a great cabinet for all of Ron's camera equipment which he now keeps under the bed. "He is an amateur photographer (very good) and has a lens for everything and I think he is carrying 3 cameras, so he could use a space of his own. The couch is not as comfortable as the J couch in the W. This has the air mattress bed and is much harder. We may have to replace the couch down the road. We had replaced our dinette with a 72 inch flexsteel J sofa in our C and we loved it. Great to take a nap on. LOL It was so comfy. The cockpit chairs however, are more comfortable.
