We were surprised that the water inlet area and the area where the water pump was was not really heated (isn't in the 33c either) I wouldn't worry about them freezing at the temps you mentioned unless it was for a continuous period of time. Remember, we were at 5 degrees when we were having to try and keep things from freezing.
