We've been doing a lot of work on our 2011 W30, but I've been guilty of not posting as we upgraded. Here is what we've done.
1. I installed Shurflo's 24 oz. pressure tank. It has really cut down the "on/off" cycles of the pump. It also seems to have quieted the pump.
2. Installed the Dirt Devil Central Vacuum. Installed unit in the rear compartment, and the inlet at the end of the bed.
3. Installed HatchLift kits on outside compartment doors.
4. Installed pull out shelves in pantry. We decided to go with side mounted "full extension" drawer slides. This cuts down on the width of the drawers, but we added a third drawer in the bottom section. I built the drawers with 3" sides.
5. Extended the bed to full queen size by adding 5" of foam between the matress and the head of the bed. The matress pad goes over the matress and the foam to hold both together (this method was described by someone earlier in this forum). I added 5" to the lift section of the bed at the hinge. We removed the factory headboard and replaced it with a large photo we took in Alaska in 2010. This gained us 2" of room.
6. Added a "Laundry Basket Drawer" beneath the 2 drawers under the bedroom closet. We used "full extension drawer slides" to allow the removal of the laundry basket.
7. Installed 12 volt lights in each of the outside compartments. I wired them in line with the water/electric and sewer compartments so they are under control of the Master Compartment Switch.
Wow You have been busy. All very good ideas.
