Hi all,
We've been working on some modifications little by little. Also been doing routine maintenance.
Bought a smallish Cuisinart electric reversible grill/griddle unit at Tuesday Morning. Has it's own stand or you can set it on a table. A friend who has one even set theirs on their RV cooktop with the MW vent running and "grilled" inside when it was storming out.
Installed the same Moen kitchen faucet that Ron and Deb have. I'm going to love the extra height for a pot to fit under.
Also switched out our bathroom sink. Tom has always hated the one we had. If he leaned forward to shave or when brushing his teeth, his head was touching the medicine cabinet. We wanted something with the bowl closer to the front edge of the vanity top. Tried to find a small metal "farmer" sink with no luck. Finally found a ceramic one that would fit. It's heavier than we'd like, but we don't generally load the RV up a lot, anyway. (Plus we've both lost more combined weight than the sink so figure it evens out. LOL) Changed the faucet at the same time, switching to a single lever.
Although our Vista handles really well, we still want to do the "cheap handling fix" described in the Ford chassis forum on irv2.com, just haven't had time yet.
Next big thing is getting a 5 Star tune. So far we haven't been able to find the ECM box. If anyone knows where it's located in our rigs, please tell me.
I soooo want to go somewhere. We're stuck here until mid-July with weddings, graduations, you name it. But hope to get in a couple of 3-4 day trips in that time.
Safe and happy travels everyone.
