2010 Explorer as a toad

Hi, I just purchased my first MH and now need to tow my Explorer. I've been told that it is not possible without installing a drive shaft transmission disconnect? This seems extreme! I did search for other info and found a neutral tow kit but, it seems that it is not produces any longer. Guess I'm ready to trade for a CRV. Anyone know what I can do to keep my Explorer? I really love it.
Thanks

    BOL,

sure you can tow it, needs a drive shaft disconnect perhaps to do so.

    BOL,
  • install the drive shaft disconnect. I had one on my S-10 PU, hated it.
be sure a new CRV can be towed 4 down. check the owner's manual on these and follow that advice.
