2011 monoco diplomat 43dft

There were a couple of furniture options on these. My 08 knight has the optional layout, I think they called it a j lounge or something like that?
It's a fixed dinette (doesn't fold down.) The rear dinette seat is part of the couch, the whole thing kinda looks like a fat J from above.
The couch is a jackknife sleeper.

Another big "He!! yes" to this era Monaco. Our '08 pre bankruptcy rig is a gem.

Thanks again for all the help. I have contacted monaco and they sent me the build sheet and I'm waiting for the recall information. One thing that I have found out is the furniture layout is for a pilot side jackknife and a copilot side I lounge jackknife? He dinette set is a booth, but it doesn't fold down into a sleeping space? Confused and not sure what options I have besides the air mattress on the floor? I have never heard of a booth dinette that doesn't fold out? Any help appreciated or anyone that knows about conversion places for furniture. Thanks Todd

A word about the LCI hydraulic slide/jack pump...When Navistar took over, they inherited the supply the old Monaco had of LCI pumps, these pumps had a bad seal and allowed hydraulic fluid into the motor and could start a fire or the motor would seize..There was a recall on it, ensure that the recall has been done..Allied (Monaco support) would have a record on it if it was done or not. If not done, this recall should be done and Monaco is supposed to cover it. That would not stop me from buying the coach...but just a heads up..at least this year of Monaco came from Navistar which did issue a recall on it and that the new owners of Monaco/HR are still honoring...

I also have the HR version, Endeavor 43DFT - with 425 Cummins. Have about 14,000 miles on it and just love the coach. Solid coach with great floor plan. We had the Horton fan installed as part of the purchase package and really like the improvement in engine noise and mileage.
Original build sheet with all the numbers of everything in coach including engine SN is in the rear closet drivers side on the wall.

NADA shows the Suggested List Price when new was $310,350.00 Any options that were added or any discount off list the original buyer negotiated would change the original purchase price. It also shows the current Low Retail as $190,180.00 and the Average Retail as $229,130.00. These prices would change based upon any options that were added to the coach. Once you get the build sheet you can get a price that reflects the actual coach configuration.

Great advise. Just left a message for monoco customer relations to ask about the original build sheet. I have vin, will need to get engine number. I also wondered if anyone has a ballpark for what original owner paid for this make / model

Pull the engine number and call your local Cummins dealer. They'll be able to give you the warranty info. They can also plug the engine into their computer and tell you all kinds of stuff relative to the drivetrain.

Also, if you haven't done so, call Monaco direct with the last six of your vin, (you can also use your coach number which will be on the RVIA sticker near the door) They will email you the build sheet on the coach which contains all the installed stuff with serial numbers for your records and insurance.......Dennis

Toddoo......That's a good choice as long as it doesn't have the MaxxForce engine. The MaxxForce engine is okay, but a loser for resale. The Cummins has a 5 year warranty, so it depends on when the coach went into service. So if it was sold in late 2010 as a 2011 model, you have one year left.

It has the 425 cummins engine. Do you know with your coach what model /brand of stackable washer /dryer it came with? The one I am buying didn't come with one. I also wanted to know how much remaining warranty I have on engine/drivetrain. The last thing is all I have heard about it being a stiff ride? Not sure what they are talking about?
