2014-2015 Ford Explorer as a Tow Vehicle

Towed an 08 Explorer for several years now towing a 2014 Explorer. Purchased both to have the third row seat. When traveling we put both back rows down and use the platform as storage. Not sure about front wheel drive being towable. We have the four wheel drive automatic package. Also believe you need to avoid the eco boost model. Only problem we have found with the new one has been that it has too many systems that run with the key in the first click and the battery was going dead. Had to add a charge line from the motorhome that we did not need on the 08.
