1. Tiffin (I am not aware of ANY RV) does NOT have a system where the Ign Key turns the Inverter ON. You must turn the Inverter ON at the remote panel
2. The AC (120) voltage is completely separate from the DC voltage
3. The Key ON, within 60 seconds the Dual charge solenoid will close and engage the chassis battery to charge from the Inverter/charger. THAT may cause the Charger to charge at a slightly higher rate, but NOT drop the Line voltage 3 volts.
4. HOW are you reading the AC line voltage to see that 3 volt drop? What tool or appliance are you using?
5. The Interior lights should NOT dim just from turning the Ign key ON. Doug
I just checked a new 2014 Allegro bus. When you turn any heavy 120 load ON the Power management display shows a slight 2 to 4 volt drop on that leg of the 50 amp service. I was turning the 120 element for the Aqua Hot on and off (11 amp draw). I turned the Ign key On and OFF and at not time did the DC voltage drop or the Interior lights dim.
