I am using a anlog mutimeter plug in to an outlet. Reading 115 VAC turn key on drops to 112 VAC and overhead lights dim enough to be notice. Turn key back off and everything returns to normal. No appliance running except the refrig.
This is NOT normal. BUT, analog meters that plug into wall outlets are NOT reliable other than letting you know you have AC voltage. They are extremely susceptible to frequency (htz) fluctuations. SO, the AC voltage is not a concern. The dimming of the lights IS a concern. NO RV (motorhome) coach 12 volt lights systems should dim or fluctuate when plugged in or even on APU (Genset), with a GOOD Inverter/Charger(or Converter) online supplying 12 volt current when the Ign key is turned ON. As I stated, I check our stock units 2014 Tiffins and NONE do that. I have never had a cause to check before until you posted this problem. When you state overhead lights. ALL the interior lights or just the forward lights above the Drivers and passenger seats? Doug
