Think about it - you're on the gen, no shore power, you start the rig and the inverter comes on using battery power now supplied by the engine alternator and the gen doesn't supply AC to the inverter AC outputs.
And with your unit it will not invert and charge at the same time - it's one or the other or neither. Look up the information for your Magnum unit.
Tiffin does NOT do this. Nobody would want the charger off and the Inverter on by the Ignition key. Doug
