I also have a Tioga, but it is the 31M model. One of the pet peeves on my unit, and hopefully you don't have the same problem, is that the tv operates on 12 volt, while the dvd operates on 110 VAC. Fleetwood, apparently in compliance with the law, wired in lock out relays in both devices. I don't know why Fleetwood did not make both devices 12 volt to begin with. When running solely on house batteries (driving or parked), I can only use the tv. Unless I turn the generator, or use an inverter, I can't use the dvd player. While driving (tv behind the driver), my passengers can't watch tv because the ignition sends a signal to the relay, which cuts off power to the dvd. A second relay somewhere also kills 12 power to the tv. Unless I use an inverter wired to the house batteries, I can't operate the tv and dvd player at the same time. I wanted everything to run on 12 volt, and to operate while under way, or off the grid, while on house batteries, and as a result, I had to get rid of the dvd player and replace it with one that operates on 12 volt. I had to run two 12 volt wires directly to the fuse panel to operate the new dvd player and the tv., thereby bypassing the lock out relays.
