I still don't see what this would get you. Unless you're prepared to just wait "chains required" situations out, you'd still have to carry chains, especially if you do any East/West travel in Washington in winter.
Which is the only time I ever put them in my rigs, now that I think of it. It's not like you have to lug 'em all over the place year 'round!
