2015 Fleetwood Expedition 38K

Hi Everyone,
Newbie here. We still have not purchased an RV. Sort of settled on a used Phaeton 36gh with warm colors but are hard hard to find.

Prices seem to be all over the board. Private owners feel their coaches are worth a lot more than they are and going to a dealership is a nightmare to leave if you know what you want. They just don't want to let you go. Ok enough whining.

We found 2015 Fleetwood Expedition 38K. 179,900 We love the look of this unit but wondered how it compares to newmars and phaetons as those are the ones we settled on. Don't know much about Fleetwood.

We also like the 2011 newmar 3433 159,000 we found at the same dealership. We are new so short matters and we are hoppers. Not staying places too long.

What pricing makes sense for these coaches at a dealership? There was some great comments about pricing as I read other posts.

Thoughts?
  • I think that is the price not the mileage I hope.
  • Yep price. Mileage is low on the 2015 (6000) i think and the newmar is low too
  • Mr. Ricjoyner, have you considered a used Prevost?

There is a used 2001 Liberty in warm colors at Olympia Luxury Coaches in Nashville, TN, 78,000 miles (asking $259,000). I would think this coach was $1.5M new. I've never seen this coach in person, I always like look to see what is out there on the market.

It has no slides but looks roomy inside. For those that don't want to stay in places very long, they like the convenience of parking, plugging in, leveling and they are done (no slides to worry about).

The safety and robustness of a Prevost chassis is something to consider.

Just thought I would toss that out there.

    Safe travels,
    MM.
  • I have been browsing the new coaches some. I came across a 2016 Pace Arrow LXE 38K by Fleetwood with a bath and 1/2. List is 238,500 and offered $50K off MSRP.
It is a nicely laid out floor plan. Pricing is definitely all over the place on new and used coaches.

I bet they jumped at that offer, I would start my offer at $158K (35% off msrp) and end at 30% off.
