2015 Monaco Dynasty - HORRIFIED!!!

First article I read in the FMCA magazine that came today. A "road test" (or something) of the first Monaco since they were purchased from Navistar by the parent company of Fleetwood / American Coach

And for the first time in 20 years, a high end Monaco rides on something besides a 8 or 10 airbag roadmaster chassis!

Worse, these fake are calling their American coach freightliner chassis a "roadmaster B series"!

I think I'll keep my Knight, and it's REAL 8 air bag ROADMASTER chassis for as long as I can keep her rolling.

Sorry Allied Recreational Group, you just cannot pass this off as a Monaco.

  • For the new unit that has a base price of $595K and $639K as tested I would want something other than a Freightliner chassis for that price.

ASV scrapped the Roadmaster Chassis after purchasing it from Navistar (claim it is too expensive to build) and are going to use freightliner clips and build a bridge type frame to connect the clips. Sounds very similar to the chassis used on the American Coach Revolution.

They are calling this new chassis a Roadmaster
