2015 Newmar Ventana MH Ordered!

We attended the recent Hershey RV show prepared to purchase a new MH if the right unit presented itself and we could make a trade-in deal on our existing unit.

Well, we placed an order for a 2015 Newmar Ventana 4037!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is scheduled to be completed in late January/Early February.

We are trading in our 2010 Itasca Meridian 34Y. This will be our 7th RV in 39 years, starting in the back of a covered 1976 Chevy Pickup, 18' 24' and 24' travel trailers, 31' E450 based Class C, 35' Itasca diesel pusher and now the 40' tag axle, diesel pusher Newmar.

I'm hoping that all we've learned in 39 years and 6 prior RV's has allowed us to spec out and custom order the 'forever' RV that is still in our budget. Time will tell...

    The AGM's are something I always upgrade to so when custom building this coach I asked if I could trade the standard batteries straight away for AGM's. Newmar seems like they will work out just about anything on a custom basis.

    Tending to 10 batteries on an all electric coach was something I had no interest in. :)

    AGM's are the ticket. You NEVER have to worry about them.

    That's actually not the case with DISH network, which is what we have. We have the winegard dome now and it receives sats 110, 119 and 61.5 (or 129). Most of DISH's HD channels are on the 61.5/129 satelite, the remainder on either 119 or 110. Direct TV needs a multi LNB dish to receive HD.

    I like the dome since I don't have to worry about forgetting to put it down and its protects from the weather and trees etc.

    Congratulations!!! You will like the Ventana. We purchased a 2013 Ventana LE and are very happy with it. We have had very few problems with it too. We visited the factory this summer and they took care of all our issues in less than a day of work. That tells you something!!!

    Congratulations you will love this coach. I think you got it all. YOu might consider getting a satellite automatic tv antenna rather than a dome. The dome, as I'm sure you know,will not get high definition and a dish like the automatic wineguard traveler will.

    It was the combination of the availability of a TAG axle on a 40' MH, Newmar's comfort steer and their willingness to allow a virtually custom made floor plan at an entry-mid level priced diesel pusher that helped make our decision to go with this coach over the numerous others in the market place.

    We enjoyed the past 4.5 years in the Itasca Meridian but that was never intended to be the "forever" MH. Hopefully this is...
