A percentage is a percentage so it does not sting so bad when you buy cheaper. The rate is the same, the hit to the wallet is less. Still depreciation on motorhomes goes down faster than a fat kid on a see-saw. As I write this I think how financially foolish I am for buying one. But they are a lot of fun - when they aren't having issues - which is not as infrequent as I would like. most people don't buy a MH with the intent of selling in a few years.
Considering more and more lately of selling ours and hanging up Rving for a while. It's a sizeable expense to do it as infrequently as we have lately and I could put that money to use elsewhere that would indirectly fuel fun in other areas.
