But length and weight are important to vehicle classification in several European countries, which is why you will find the majority of motorhomes, camping cars, motor caravans sold are under 3500 KG, and under 7 meters. Larger RVs exist, owners have to jump through more hoops to license and drive them, sometimes pay much higher tolls, be restricted to lower travel speeds, pay taxes under a different structure, and be excluded from more urban areas and special places (like hill towns).
