24v batteries

I just purchased my 1st motorhome. It is a 2015 coachman lepracaun 319DS. It has to 24v deep cycle batteries and they keep going dead. Being that my power converter is 12v should I have 12V batteries in there

  • Ok, before doing anything I think we need to know why those batteries are in there. The only think I can come up with is that you have a 24v inverter.

And, how did you end up with 24v batteries and no way to charge them?
  • If it really has 24 volt batteries, they can't be much of anything but dead with a 12 volt converter. You need 12 volt batteries or a pair of 6 volt.
