So it is done - changed from 235 80 22.5 to 275 70 22.5 Michelins. I got an extra 1240 lbs carrying capacity at the same ( 105) pressure. Tires now have 5 days and close to 1500 miles on them and performance is really good. Gas mileage may even have gone up slightly but a much better road feel with less steering wander and a more secure feeling. My view is well worth the $ 90 CAN extra per tire. Even got 2315 date codes so I am good for longer than I will drive this coach. No issues with clearances on an F-53 chassis.
