Got to go to Lazy Days in Tampa while in town visiting the inlaws last week. We really like the Winnebago Vista bunk models but are really worried about 30A service and one roof air in a 31’ unit ( we live in Texas) What are the options to add a second air in the bedroom in such a unit? Is this a common upgrade by the dealer?
Yes, you need two and for having a backup, if nothing else. It's all about the money and if it's a deal that you can't pass up, then you mount your own and wire it to a dual power adapter for plugging into a separate outlet on the pedestal. It will run on the genset, as well, if done right.
Otherwise buy a coach with two units and if LAZYDAYS or another dealer was to do it for you, with a bill that will knock your socks off, then option 2, would probably be best.
Now is not the best season for wheeling and dealing in FL, but you might get a decent deal at LD's if you begin with returning the favor of making an offer that is sure to shock them, beyond belief.
