It will work fine, IF you have a power control center. Without the computer managing the the load, it won't work.
Remember, the original 15k BTU ac has to be replaced with a 11k BTU unit, and then a second 11k BTU unit added. With 22,000 BTU's in our unit, it was plenty cool in South Florida.
