How about if both trucks being apples to apples had the gasser's transmission and rear gears?
The diesel engine would detonate the gasser's transmission and rear gears.
I bought my son a new differential for his Chevy Z-71 after he pulled my 5,200 lb. smoker trailer over a 1.000 miles and bought all his gaoline for the trip.
Good point. I should have specified saying the Gasser's transmission ratios.
The z71 is a half ton 4x4 and, depending on the year, would be right at the limit with that load. The fuel type had nothing to do with the differential blow out.
