Apparently this thread is about what you own and why it is better. Fact is, we buy what suits our needs. If it is better, than it is better. I like diesel, from my FW days until now, living in Colorado it really makes sense to have a diesel. There are a lot of gassers out there. They are very slow up the mountains, probably due as much to the lack of O2 vs any other factor. I like the quiet and the power. MPGs are only minimal over gassers. If I see 8 mpg, I am over the moon. Flat land MPG on a windless day can get me almost 8.5. In a pusher, the tenths are easier to track. 7.7 to 8.5 is about my range. My dad has a gasser and we are still on speaking terms. More money gets you more and that is how it is. His little gasser gets over 10 at times but he sleeps on a littler bed and only carries 50 gallons of water and has about a 320 mile range. I have a king sized gel bed, 100 gallons of water and have a 770 to 850 mile range. Apples to apples, gentlemen (and ladies). Apples to apples.
