4 flat towing

Check one of our sponsors, RV Upgrades, they usually have the best prices but check Amazon too. I just needed a new Blue Ox tow bar and Amazon was 551 and RV Up was about 850 for the same bar. Any body shop should be able to install the base plate 350-400. I just realized they are a sponsor at IRV2 not here!

The best thing to do is go to someone who can install it and get a price. If you will be doing it yourself you will save labor cost. Check out some on line places that sell what you need. I installed my own so I don't know how much labor would be. Tow bars very in price from a simple A frame to the top of the line so the price difference between them could be $800.

I had mine done by my Rv dealer. They did good job.

It cost us between 3500.00 to 4000.00 to purchase base plate, tow bar, aux braking system and to have it installed. It was a Roadmaster setup as opposed to the Blue Ox.

Check around. Camping world runs sales on package deals to include installation from time to time. But yes 2-3k is a good ball park.

My base plate was $360. I happen to find a Blue Ox tow bar on Craigslist for $300. Auxiliary brake was $1300 for the RViBrake2 with the charger.

Not what you asked exactly, but we have NSA tow bars and wouldn't have any other, along with being alum. and having an 8K lb. rating.

If there's a 4x4 store specializing in aftermarket stuff, ask there. We had our setup done at one of them. We used Blue Ox and were very satisfied with 8 years of use before we sold it.
