40' Length Motorhome to big for most campground's?

We traveled full-time in our 40' MH for 10 years. We got into the same parks as we did with our 33' 5th wheel. We used public parks 90% of the time as our first choice. We spent a summer in Alaska in public parks and boondocking, including in Denali Nat'l Park.

Now . . California's state parks? California is in it's own 'little' world so no, we didn't use the state parks. However, there are wonderful county, city and forest service campgrounds that we have used in California.

Yes, you need to do your research but it can be done.
